As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Industrial Scientific, Mr. McElhattan drives corporate strategy, leading three corporate divisions that were established following the acquisition of Oldham S.A. in 2006.
Prior to this position, Kent had served as Chief Executive Officer since the company’s founding in 1985. McElhattan earned a doctorate in science, honoris causa from Clarion University, Clarion, Pa., and a
Bachelor of Arts degree fromDavis & Elkins College, Elkins, W.Va. He serves on the boards of theWorld Affairs Council of Pittsburgh and the Beard Center of Leadership & Ethics, Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pa.
